Antonio Rudiger, Real Madrid’s newest defender, will wear number 22.
Both portions were revealed during today’s presentation. The German center-back had the option of selecting number 12, but opted for number 22 instead.
As a free agent, Rudiger has agreed to a four-year contract with Real Madrid.
When fit, the German defender will almost probably be an undisputed starter for Real Madrid, giving coach Ancelotti more alternatives when it comes to putting together his go-to defensive line.
Real Madrid will likely stay still in the transfer market, at least when it comes to adding some players, given that Rudiger and Tchouameni have been confirmed as Real Madrid players. Members of the present roster, such as Jovic, Mariano, Ceballos, and Asensio, might yet depart.
After returning from loan spells with Fiorentina and Getafe, Alvaro Odriozola and Borja Mayoral might both stay at the club.
