Red Star Belgrade may be looking to re-sign Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari in 2025 after his struggles in Major League Soccer with Austin FC.
Bukari, who joined Austin last summer for €7 million, has had a tough time replicating his European form, scoring just two goals and three assists in 24 matches.
This dip in performance has led to speculation that Austin might be willing to let him go, potentially paving the way for a return to Red Star Belgrade.
Bukari previously had a successful stint with the Serbian club, scoring 25 goals and 20 assists in 78 appearances.
Red Star Belgrade, looking to strengthen their attack for the next season, might find Bukari’s past success at the club appealing.
They initially signed him from Gent for €3 million in 2022.
If Austin decides to part ways with Bukari, Red Star Belgrade could be ready to welcome him back, leveraging his previous success to bolster their squad for domestic and European competitions.
