France defender Raphael Varane has suffered yet another injury while on international duty.
Varane has missed 15 games in his first season as a Manchester United player due to injury and is now set to be on the sidelines for at least two weeks.
The Frenchman hobbled off with a hamstring injury in the defeat against Denmark but is expected to be fine in less than two weeks.
Varane should probably give the rest of the internationals this summer a miss and focus on recovering for the 2022/23 campaign.
The United defender came off after playing 61 minutes, but Didier Deschamps has yet to update the media on the matter, as per L’Equipe.
France assistant manager Guy Stephan: “Raphaël [Varane] has a muscular problem behind the thigh. He felt some pain [against Denmark]. He’s also going to take medical exams as well.” #mulive [mail]
