Paris Saint Germain’s search for a new coach has stalled after failing to find a breakthrough in their talks with Christophe Galtier.
French portal L’Équipe reports that the moneybags have failed to convince Nice about their manager with Les Aiglons demanding a fee for their coach that the capital club is unwilling to pay.
Galtier has two left years to go on his contract with Nice, having arrived last summer after winning the title with Lille but his relationship with the club’s director Julien Fournier got worse after losing the cup final.
Foot Mercato have indicated that Lucien Favre could be set to return to the club as Galtier’s replacement, in a move that is reportedly independent of PSG’s decision to raid them for the head coach.
? Zinédine Zidane will not take over Paris Saint-Germain as new coach. Christophe Galtier from OGC Nice is the top favorite. Advanced talks.

Discussion between both clubs is set to continue in the coming days with PSG confident that they will get Galtier as they seek to replace Mauricio Pochettino who was shown the door last week.
