PSG enter Lewandowski race

French giants Paris Saint Germain have entered the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish has stated publicly that he wants to leave the Bundesliga giants with a war of words between him and the club being the order of the day in recent weeks in press conferences.

Barcelona were the team in pole position for the striker’s signature but due to their financial situation currently, they might let the player slip with PSG now said to be keen on adding the Polish to their attack next season.

Barcelona are working on a financial package for Lewandowski, with Bayern pushing for over €50m, despite his contract expiring at the end of next season and according to French portal L’Equipe, this financial situation has PSG hovering over the player.

PSG are willing to meet the current asking price despite Bayern confirming they will sit down for talks with Lewandowski next week following his UEFA Nations League duty with Poland.
