Paris Saint-Germain have announced a new partnership with Google which will earn the French champions millions of dollars and bring the technology company into the club’s stadium.
The agreement, announced on Monday, will see Google Gemini become Paris Saint-Germain’s official artificial intelligence assistant, while Google Pixel will be recognised as the club’s official smartphone.
The partnership was confirmed in a statement published on Paris Saint-Germain’s official website, with details reported by Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo. Financial terms have not been disclosed, but the deal is expected to generate millions of dollars for the club.
As part of the arrangement, Paris Saint-Germain will also create a dedicated Google area at Parc des Princes, the club’s home stadium. The announcement gives Google a visible presence around the French club, while linking its products with one of football’s leading teams.
Paris Saint-Germain are the reigning Ligue 1 champions and won the latest edition of the UEFA Champions League. The club’s agreement with Google reflects football’s growing interest in artificial intelligence and digital technology, both for sporting analysis and for communication with supporters.
Football clubs and sports organisations are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence to examine data and produce material for their social media platforms. The technology is being used as part of a wider move towards faster access to statistics and more digitally focused fan engagement.
The Paris Saint-Germain deal places Google Gemini at the centre of the club’s official artificial intelligence plans. Google Pixel, meanwhile, will have the status of the team’s official smartphone, while the dedicated space at Parc des Princes will provide the company with a physical presence at the stadium.
The agreement follows a similar direction elsewhere in football. In 2025, the Premier League and Microsoft announced a five-year partnership involving Microsoft Copilot.
Under that deal, Copilot is being used across the Premier League’s digital platforms to provide rapid match data and statistics. It marked another example of a major football organisation working with a technology company to make information more readily available to its audience.
Paris Saint-Germain’s announcement comes as clubs continue to explore how artificial intelligence can support their digital operations. The partnership with Google combines that developing technology focus with a commercial arrangement involving two of the company’s best-known products.
Google Gemini will therefore serve as Paris Saint-Germain’s official AI assistant, Google Pixel will become the official smartphone, and Google will receive a dedicated area inside Parc des Princes under the newly announced agreement.
