Prince Acquah, Lamptey, Baah make Laryea Kingston team of the week

Asante Kotoko forward Steven Mukwala, midfielder Richmond Lamptey and defender Yussif Nurudeen have been named in Laryea Kingston’s team of the week for Matchday 14.

The trio were instrumental in Asante Kotoko’s 3-2 win over rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on sunday. Whiles, Mukwala netted twice on the day, Nurudeen and Lamptey were sublime in the clash.

Nations FC midfielders Prince Acquah and Barimah Baah also earned a place in the team alongside Karela United’s Samuel Atta Kumi and Emmanuel Avornyor of Bechem United.

FC Samartex 1996 shotstopper Kofi Baah who has kept 7 clean sheets in the ongoing campaign gets selected as goalkeeper of the team.

Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko of Karela United is named as coach of the week.

Laryea is a former Ghanaian international who won 41 caps for Ghana and scored 6 goals in a career that spanned 14-years.
