President Simeon-Okraku thanks Tamale for support following re-election

President Simeon-Okraku joined the Muslim community in Tamale on Friday, October 6, 2023 to express his appreciation to God and to thank the people of Tamale for their support following his re-election as President of the Ghana Football Association for another four years.

He was in the company of Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzzo – Chairman of the Northern regional Association, John Ansah, a member of the Safety and Security Committee, Executives of the Northern regional Football Association as well as management members of Real Tamale United and Tamale City and other Club owners in the Tamale Metropolis.

President Simeon-Okraku recorded a landslide victory in the GFA Elective congress on Thursday, October 5, 2023 after polling 117 of the 120 total votes cast to retain his place as head of Ghana’s football governing body.

The Imams took turns to pray for him, his administration and the entire team.

The newly elected Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association led by President Simeon-Okraku will steer affairs for the next four years.
