Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) met with the country’s president Nana Akufo-Addo for the planning of next year’s President’s Cup.
The welfare body headed by chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo with other members including vice-chairman John Ansah, George Ofosuhene Peprah, Anita Wiredu-Mintah, Samuel Oduro Nyarko and Patrick Akoto are understood to have held a fruitful discussion with the head of state.
Akufo Addo has been present at two President Cup matches with the recent edition, seeing Hearts of Oak beat Asante Kotoko to lift the trophy.
He is expectec to be available for his third before stepping down as President.
The President Cup is a competition predominantly between the two most glamorous clubs, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to honour the sitting president.
