Asante Kotoko have unveiled midfielder Walid Neymar Fuseini on a three-year deal, with the 25-year-old describing the move as the fulfilment of a lifelong ambition.
“This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. Playing for a club of Kotoko’s stature is a dream, and I believe my qualities can have a real impact here,” Fuseini said after signing.
The versatile midfielder, who can operate centrally, in advanced roles, or from the flanks, is eager to make his mark immediately, especially with Kotoko returning to continental competition.
“The expectations are high, but I do well under pressure. I want to prove that I belong at the very top, and there’s no better place to do that than at Asante Kotoko if you want to play in Ghana,” he added.
Fuseini arrives with solid experience, tallying 81 Ghana Premier League appearances and four in the CAF Confederation Cup.
He began his career with Bolga All Stars before carving a reputation as a dynamic, technically gifted presence in midfield.
Kotoko, fresh from their GHALCA Top 4 campaign, are now preparing to face Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars in the Champion of Champions clash on August 31.
