Zapping World Eleven EXCLUDED: Christopher Nkunku’s “Little Brother” interview!
Sergiño Dest arrived in the last moments of the transfer window at AC Milan. The right side of Barça was loaned one season with the option to buy from the Rossoneri. The American international hasn’t played in Serie A so far, but he has already made two Champions League appearances with the Milanese. The Dutchman could experience his first minutes in the league this weekend against Napoli. Asked by Gianluca DiMarzio, Dest spoke about his arrival at AC Milan. He also talks about his style of play and what he can bring to the Italian team, winner of the Scudetto last year.
On his preferred positions
“I’m a very versatile defender, I can play on the right, but I can also play on the left. Playing defense is my favorite position, but I also have more offensive characteristics in case you need me to play a little higher. What I can do is give 100% so that Milan decides to keep me.”
Italy, a country with a great defensive tradition
“I believe that here I can become a more complete player. Italy are famous for their excellent defenders, I will have to focus on improving my defensive skills and improving my potential. Changing teams and league is a great opportunity to grow.”
