Players of the senior national team, the Black Stars have started arriving for the opening games of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Seven players including captain Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew have reported in camp ahead of Saturday’s training.
Veteran midfielder Mubarak Wakaso and England-based Baba Rahman join Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Felix Afena-Gyan and Osman Bukari as members of the Black Stars that have arrived.
The rest of the players are expected today and on Sunday as Otto Addo and his technical team beginning preparations for the games against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.
The Black Stars will hold their first training today before leaving for Cape Coast to continue preparations for next week’s game against Madagascar.
Ghana will travel to Central African Republic for the second game.
The team will make a trip to Japan for the Kirin Cup tournament which will serve as preparations for the World Cup later this year.
