Paul Pogba aims parting shot at Man United: ‘They made a mistake’

Soon-to-be former Manchester United star Paul Pogba has aimed something of a dig at those in a position of power at Old Trafford, ahead of his imminent departure from the club.

It has of course long been common knowledge that the coming weeks are set to prove French international Pogba’s last on the books of United.

This comes with the gifted midfielder’s contract due to expire at the end of the month, after the two parties failed to reach an agreement on the terms of a new deal through next season and beyond.

Pogba, in turn, is primed to take his talents back to Italy, linking up with Serie A giants Juventus as a free agent for the 2nd time in his career.

Official confirmation of the 29-year-old’s move back to Turin is expected to be forthcoming as part of Pogba’s upcoming documentary, the ‘Pogmentary’, at some point next month.

Ahead of the feature’s release, though, snippets of content have begun to surface online, one of which has today caused quite the stir.

The exchange in question centers on Pogba and the since passed Mino Raiola, during which the latter informs his client of the latest contract offer placed upon his table by the board at Old Trafford.

Pogba, evidently unhappy with the terms proposed, goes on to suggest that he had ‘never seen’ such a situation, essentially accusing United of failing to follow through on their word from a financial standpoint.

Even more head-turning, though, are ensuing comments on the part of the Frenchman, who, at a later date, confirmed his intention to ‘show Manchester United that they made a mistake’.
