Greek giants Panathinaikos have completed the signing of Andrews Tetteh, a 24-year-old striker of Ghanaian descent, from A.E. Kifisia ahead of the January transfer window.
The Athens-born forward, who has been in blistering form this season, attracted interest from several European clubs before Panathinaikos moved swiftly to secure his signature.
Tetteh has scored six goals and provided four assists in 11 appearances across all competitions in the ongoing 2025/26 campaign.
Announcing the deal, Panathinaikos said on their official website:
“Panathinaikos FC announces the acquisition of Andreas Tetteis and Pavlos Pantelidis from Kifissia. Tetteis was born on May 25, 2001, in Athens and this year with the Kifissia jersey he has 6 goals in 11 appearances. In total, he has played in 139 games, scoring 47 times.”
The 1.88m centre-forward, who captained Kifisia before his move, began his career at PAO Rouf and joined Kifisia at 19, later enjoying a short loan spell at Panaitolikos last season.
Despite being born in Greece, Tetteh remains eligible to represent Ghana internationally a possibility that could become a reality should his fine form continue in the Greek Super League.
