PAC Academy beat leaders Basake Holy Stars in Zone Two

PAC Academy who are unbeaten in their last 5 league games moved 4th in Zone Two after a 1-0 win over leaders Basake Holy Stars. Kwame Danquah’s 2nd minute goal helped his side grab all the spoils on the road. Despite the shocking home loss, Basake Holy Stars still lead the table in Zone Two with 28 points having won two and lost three of their last five games.

Still in the Zone, Skyy FC recorded a 2-0 victory over Young Redbull to keep their title aspirations alive. Andrews Cobbinah scored the first goal in the 20th minute to put Skyy FC in front before John Dadzie netted the second goal for the home side in the 66th minute. Skyy FC are still second in Zone two, one point behind the leaders.

Elsewhere, New Edubiase United pip Swedru All Blacks 1-0 to move 3rd in the Zone Two League table. Emmanuel Marfo’s goal in the 78th minute won the game for the former Premier League side who have won three, drawn one and lost one in their last five games.
