Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is scheduled to hold a press conference on Thursday evening at the Toyota Stadium in Aichi, Japan, ahead of Ghana’s Kirin Cup encounter against the Samurai Blue.
The session is set for 6:30pm local time (9:30am in Ghana) and will provide Addo an opportunity to discuss his team’s readiness for Friday’s high-profile friendly.
Addo is expected to touch on Ghana’s preparation plans and squad selection as the team prepares toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
The Kirin Cup fixture, which takes place on Friday, November 14, 2025, will serve as a key test for the Black Stars as they continue to fine-tune their tactics and assess player performance.
Ghana’s camp in Nagoya has been buzzing with activity this week, with 21 players already in camp, including recent arrivals Mohammed Salisu, Prince Osei Owusu, and Christopher Bonsu Baah.
The Black Stars will hold their final training session later on Thursday at the match venue as they put finishing touches on their preparations.
