Ghanaian defender Jerome Opoku has tipped coach Otto Addo as the man to bring out the best in him.
Opoku was named in coach Otto Addo starting eleven for the friendly against Nigeria where Ghana lost 2-1 in Morocco.
The 6 foot 4 inch defender was sent off in the 56 minute for violent conduct forcing Ghana to play much of the second half with 10 men.
“It’s something for me to build on and keep learning. I think this coach, he wants to play football. Me I like to play football, I’m not just going long, kick it long, so I can bring out the quality of my game under the coach.” Opoku opined after game.
He has so far played two games for the Black Stars.
Ghana will engage Uganda in the next international friendly on the 26th of March in Morocco.
