Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori is set to leave South African outfit Orlando Pirates at the end of the season, Footballghana.com can report.

The 30-year-old Black Stars shot stopper is expected to depart the club after almost four seasons with the South African giants.

Ofori joined the Soweto-based club in October 2020 after ending his spell with fellow Premier Soccer League club Maritzburg United.

The former WAFA shot Stopper quickly established himself as a key member of the team, helping the club to win a couple of titles.

He played a huge role when Orlando Pirates reached the finals of the CAF Confederations Cup two seasons ago.

His contract with Orlando Pirates is set to expire at the end of the 2023/24 season, and according to reports, the club has decided not to extend the contract of the Ghanaian international goalkeeper.

Ofori is no longer part of their plans after falling down the pecking order and will have to find a new club ahead of next season

This season, he has made only three appearances but is yet to make an appearance in the South African league.
