English-Ghanaian winger Omari Forson is the subject of a rumoured move from Serie A side Monza to Serie B club Cesena.
Forson, 22, has made two appearances in Serie A this season, both from the bench, and has played 26 minutes. He has also scored once in one Coppa Italia appearance.
The right winger joined Monza from Manchester United on a free transfer in July 2024 and remains under contract with the Italian club until 30 June 2028. He came through Manchester United’s academy after previously spending time in West Ham and Tottenham’s youth systems.
Forson won the FA Cup with Manchester United in 2024 and was also part of the club’s Under-18 side that won the FA Youth Cup in the 2021-22 season.
The potential move would see him remain in Italy while dropping from the top flight to Serie B. Cesena are the club linked with the transfer, although the rumour has not been confirmed and no fee or agreement has been reported.
Forson’s current role at Monza has been limited in the early weeks of the campaign, despite his involvement in the Coppa Italia. His contract gives the club a further two seasons beyond the current campaign, leaving his position at Monza unchanged unless a deal with Cesena develops.
