Board Member of Great Olympics Oluboi Commodore is positive the Black Galaxies of Ghana will book the ticket of Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament ahead of Nigeria.
Second half two goals from Afriyie Barnieh and Seidu Suraj powered coach Annor Walker’s to a comfortable 2-0 win the 1st leg of the final round of qualifiers last Sunday.
Ghana will travel to Abuja on Friday for the return leg, scheduled for September 3 at the Moshood Abeola stadium in Abuja.
“Nigeria is a big football nation. If we are able to beat them here, it means that if we are not careful, they can also beat us there but we have a better team…I am very confident that a 2-0 win for Ghana it’s a done deal for us,” he told CITI Sports.
Avoiding a defeat on the path of Ghana is enough to book a ticket at next year’s championship in Algeria.
