GFA President Kurt Okraku wants to be remembered for his honesty after his presidential term.
He emphasized this desire, highlighting the importance of integrity in his leadership. Okraku has been at the helm of Ghanaian football since 2019, guiding the Black Stars to their second World Cup qualification in six years.
During his tenure, Okraku has focused on grassroots development, women’s football, and structural reforms.
“When I finish serving and I’m gone, I want the football family to remember me for my honesty,” he told GFA media.
He’s also emphasized transparency, questioning why the GFA’s budget should be public when other sectors aren’t held to the same standard.
Okraku’s legacy is still unfolding, but his commitment to honesty and development is clear. He aims to win the AFCON trophy and leave a lasting impact on Ghanaian football.
