OFFICIAL: Maritzburg United sign Kwame Peprah from Pirates

Maritzburg United have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian forward Kwame Peprah.

The 22-year-old will join the South African Premiership side from Orlando Pirates, where he has struggled to secure regular playing time this season.

Peprah joined Orlando Pirates from King Faisal after a successful campaign in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.

He will now look to make an impact at Maritzburg United and rediscover his scoring boots.

“Maritzburg United Football Club are delighted to announce the acquisitions of Ali Meza, Bradley Cross and Kwame Peprah,” the Team of Choice wrote on their website.

“Meza and Cross will join the Team of Choice on permanent deals whilst Peprah arrives on loan from Orlando Pirates.”

Peprah made only five league appearances for the Bucs this season, falling down the pecking order following the arrival of Kermit Erasmus and Bienvenu Eva Nga.

Peprah scored nine goals in 30 appearances in all competitions and also helped the side to reach the final of the CAF Confederation Cup, losing to Morocco side RS Berkane.
