Ghana international, Thomas Partey was in action for Arsenal on Tuesday when the team engaged AC Milan in a friendly match.
The midfielder featured for his team only two days after he started training with his teammates in Dubai.
He was previously with the Ghana national team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup ongoing in Qatar.
Due to the group stage exit of the Black Stars, Thomas Partey travelled to Dubai to report to the camp of Arsenal.
During the friendly against AC Milan, the midfielder was subjected to multiple dangerous tackles.
In one of the tackles, his Arsenal teammate and captain Martin Odegaard was not happy and had some words with the bench of the Italian Serie A club.
He is said to have told the AC Milan bench, “F***ing two times! It’s a friendly!”
Fortunately, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta substituted Thomas Partey at halftime to protect him.
The midfielder is expected to be involved on Saturday when Arsenal faces off with Juventus in another friendly match.
