Assistant coach Emmanuel Mensah has sounded a note of caution to his Hasaacas Ladies team ahead of the 2024 WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Cote d’Ivoire.

Despite being favored to top Group B, Mensah warned against complacency, citing the competitive nature of the tournament.

“We can’t afford to underestimate any team,” Mensah emphasized.

“Edo Queens of Nigeria, Omnisports Etincelle of Burkina Faso, and AS Garde National of Niger will all pose unique challenges. We’ll take each match seriously and aim for maximum points.”

“We’re prepared for every opponent and will not take any team lightly.”

Hasaacas Ladies arrived in Cote d’Ivoire on August 9, ready to face the competition head-on.

The qualifiers commence on August 10, with the final scheduled for August 23, 2024.
