Nketiah, Odoi Not In Touch With Black Stars – Henry Asante Twum

GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum has denied reports that Eddie Nketiah and Callum Hudson-Odoi have approached the Black Stars, stating that the coach, Otto Addo, hasn’t informed him of any recent discussions with the duo.

Twum revealed that the coach had made contact with the players four years ago, but it didn’t materialize.

“To my knowledge, I am not aware of Eddie Nketiah or Odoi approaching the Black Stars,” Twum said on Akoma 87.9 FM.

The speculation around Nketiah and Hudson-Odoi’s potential inclusion in the Black Stars squad has been ongoing, with some believing their experience could boost Ghana’s chances at the 2026 World Cup.

However, Twum’s statement suggests that there’s no concrete development on this front.
