Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations received a significant boost after Niger defeated Sudan 4-0 on Thursday.
Daniel Sosah’s brace and goals from Ouamarou Youssouf and Ousseni Badamassi secured the vital win for Niger.
Angola currently leads Group F with 12 points, followed by Sudan with 7 points, Niger with 4 points, and Ghana with 2 points.
Ghana must win their two matches starting with the clash on Friday against Angola to boost their hopes of qualifying for the next continental event.
The Black Stars face Angola away on Friday and then take on Niger in Ghana on Monday, November 18.
