Ghana Premier League side Nations FC have officially confirmed the transfer of attacker Faisal Charwetey to Albanian top-flight club FK Bylis.
Charwetey, 23, joined Nations FC in August 2024 and quickly established himself as a key figure in the team. Converted from a full-back into an attacking role, the versatile winger enjoyed an impressive debut campaign, recording 14 goal contributions—12 goals and two assistsin 30 league appearances last season.
Before completing his move to Albania, the enterprising forward featured 15 times for Nations FC in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season, scoring two goals in that period.
Now at FK Bylis, Charwetey will be aiming for a swift adaptation as he seeks to make an immediate impact in the Kategoria Superiore. He could be in line to make his debut this weekend against league leaders KF Egnatia.
Confirming the transfer, Nations FC wished the player well in a statement shared on social media.
“We can confirm the transfer of Faisal Charwetey to FK Bylis of the Kategoria Superiore.
Proud pathway. New challenge. We wish you success, Faisal.”
Charwetey becomes the latest Ghanaian player to take the step into European football, continuing Nations FC’s growing reputation as a pathway club for emerging talent.
