The Saudi club have been linked with several midfielders in Europe in recent weeks. However, reports of financial restrictions and accumulated debts, combined with the difficulty of raising the necessary funds, have made external recruitment considerably more complicated.
That situation could give Haider Abdulkarim an opportunity to emerge as a serious option for the first team. The young Iraqi midfielder is highly regarded within Al Nassr and is considered one of the club’s most promising players, with the potential to make an impact if given a sustained chance.
Abdulkarim possesses the technical qualities associated with the role Al Nassr need to fill. He is capable of winning possession, helping to build attacks and remaining effective under pressure – attributes that would be important for any player asked to replace someone of Brozovic’s stature.
