Bibiani Gold Stars head coach Nana Yaw Amankwah has shifted focus to their next challenge after watching his side suffer a 2-0 defeat to FC Samartex at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.

The hosts struck early to maintain their unbeaten home run, with Emmanuel Kofi Essien opening the scoring inside five minutes before Emmanuel Mamah converted from the penalty spot to double the advantage within the first 15 minutes.

Despite the setback, Amankwah is confident his team can respond positively when they return to familiar territory.

“Next game we are playing home we are going to prepare very well. Home we are doing very well at home. We are hoping this time too we will continue doing that,” he told Gold Stars TV.

Gold Stars remain on 22 points after 13 matches and will now turn their attention to a crucial home fixture against Medeama, where they hope to bounce back strongly
