After 109 matches from the preliminary rounds to the grand finale, the 2024 MTN FA Cup wrapped up with a total of 238 goals scored13; 6 at home and 102 away.
The competition saw 64 home wins and 45 away victories, with eight own goals recorded.
In terms of timing, 117 goals were scored in the first half, while the second half produced 121. Seventy matches were settled in regulation time, with 39 going to penalties. Out of 22 penalty kicks awarded, 20 were converted.
On the disciplinary front, 368 players and team officials received bookings, and 16 were sent off. Debibi United’s young forward Ibrahim Alhassan emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals.

Close behind him were Asante Kotoko’s Kwame Opoku, Wa Power SC’s Israel Iddrisu, Accra Lions’ Lucky Nwafor, and Karela United’s Najib Fuseini, each netting four goals.
