Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu has returned to AS Monaco after picking up a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain while on international duty.
The injury was confirmed following assessments by both Monaco’s medical staff and the Black Stars’ team doctors.
Salisu had been expected to play a key role in Tuesday’s friendly against South Korea, but his condition makes him unavailable for the remainder of the international window.
His absence adds to the growing list of injuries in the Ghana camp, with Francis Abu and Antoine Semenyo also sidelined.
Coach Otto Addo is now left with 19 players to finish the final friendly match of the Asian tour.
The team will hold their last training session at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Monday evening.
The Black Stars will now adjust their defensive plans for the South Korea clash on November 18.
