Ghanaian football icon, Mohammed Polo, has voiced his concerns about the future of Hearts of Oak under head coach Aboubakar Ouattara, following two consecutive defeats in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians began their campaign with a 1-0 loss to Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium before a 2-0 defeat to Heart of Lions.
Speaking to Bryt FM, Polo expressed his doubts about Ouattara’s ability to lead the club to success.
“Ouattara nearly took the team to relegation last season. So why do you maintain such a coach? He quizzed.
“He (Ouattara) can never turn around the fortunes of the club. He is not a coach that can be given much time to excel. It took Jones Attuquayefio five-years to build the team to be competitive in Ghana and across Africa but Ouatarra’s case is different.
“If debutants, Basake Holy Stars can beat you at home, then when are you going to raise your game?
Hearts of Oak will face Bechem United in matchday three of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
