Former Ghanaian international Mohammed Polo is calling for the sack of Black Stars trainer Chris Hughton.
The former Brighton manager is under massive pressure following Ghana’s 1-0 defeat to Comoros in the 2026 World Cup Qualifier on Tuesday at the Moroni stadium.
It is the third match away from home without victory for Hughton.
“The fault lies with the coach from the Comoros defeat, he had his starting selection all wrong,” he told Fox FM.
“Look at the players who came in the second half , if they had started , we would not have lost the game but he failed to introduce these players into the game much earlier.”
Ghana will resume their World Cup qualifiers in March next year.
