Mohammed Kudus was our brightest spark against Crystal Palace – West Ham manager David Moyes

West Ham United manager, David Moyes, has described Mohammed Kudus as the brightest spark following his impressive performance against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Ghana international broke the deadlock for the Hammers against the Eagles at the London Olympic Stadium in the Premier League.

However, Odsonne Edouard equalized for Palace as both sides shared the spoils.

Speaking after the game, Moyes, who is a former Manchester United and Everton head coach praised the 23-year-old and described him as the brightest spark for the side despite the draw.

“Right from the start he caused Tyrick Mitchell, who is a good full-back, a lot of problems,” he told the club website.

“He (Mohammed Kudus) was probably our brightest spark and our brightest chance to get a goal. He scored a really good goal and it was a good move too, to get us the goal,” he added.

Mohammed Kudus who joined West Ham United during the summer transfer window has now scored five goals in all competitions for the Hammers.

West Ham will face Tottenham Hotspurs next on Thursday, December 7 at 20:15 GMT.
