West Ham and Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus snubbed Manchester city’s Rodri and went ahead with Ghanaian teammate Thomas Partey in his preferred Ultimate World XI.
Kudus sat with his club’s media and put together a formidable world XI, made up of the best players of his choice.
The former Right to Dream man – when selecting his preferred option for slotting in at defensive midfield – outrighlty chose Arsenal’s Partey, ignoring Manchester City’s Rodri, who is deemed as the best fit in the position.
“Yeah, my countryman. TP. I think I’ll go for him as defensive midfielder. Calm on the ball, controls the game and yeah, I just like him,” he said.
Kudus’ ultimate XI featured players from the English Premier League, with no room to accommodate stars from other top European Leagues.
The Ghanaian is currently away from London and football as he takes time off in preparation for his second year in English football.
