Mohammed Kudus will be playing in the competition in his third season with Ajax in this campaign.
The 22-year-old had a blistering start to the competition in his debut against Liverpool last two seasons. Unfortunately, his debut ended in a sorrowful note as the Ghana international played last than 10 minutes before injury ruled him out of the competition in the 2020/21 season. Kudus has struggled with injuries since then.
Mohammed Kudus returned to the competition for the 2021/22 season where he made two appearances before Ajax were eliminated from the competition.
Mohammed Kudus has been linked with a move away from the club in the ongoing transfer window.
According to reports the Ghana midfielder is in search of more play time but Champions League football may see him stay at the Johann Cruyff Arena this season.
