Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have confirmed that David Boison Frimpong has secured a move to Danish heavyweights FC Copenhagen ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 18-year-old defender will join Copenhagen’s U19 squad on a season-long loan, with the deal including an obligation to buy based on performance.
Frimpong, who reportedly impressed the Danish club during his trial stint in recent weeks, will now begin preseason with the youth team and may receive first-team opportunities depending on his progress.
Copenhagen view the former Ghana U20 defender as a promising long-term talent and are expected to keep a close eye on his development.
Frimpong joined Medeama two seasons ago and has featured in 38 matches across all competitions.
