Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club have completed the signing of midfielder Abdul Jelilu Osman from New Edubiase United FC as they begin preparations for the new football season.
Osman has agreed a three-year contract with the Tarkwa-based club after Medeama reached an agreement with New Edubiase United FC over the transfer of the highly rated player.
The move is intended to strengthen Medeama’s squad as the club prepares to defend its Ghana Premier League title and compete in domestic and continental competitions during the upcoming campaign. Osman is expected to give the champions additional quality and depth in midfield as they manage the demands of their schedule.
The new signing has already joined his Medeama team-mates and is taking part in the club’s pre-season training camp in Ivory Coast. The squad is currently undergoing intensive preparations ahead of the start of the new season.
