Ghanaian midfielder Mawuli Mensah has started training with Real Zaragoza after completing his move from Real Betis.
The 22-year-old joined Zaragoza on a six-month contract with an option to extend until 2028.
Mensah, who plays in the central midfield position, had previously featured predominantly for Betis Deportivo, making 65 appearances, scoring nine goals, and delivering an assist.
With a record of 9 goals and one assist in 65 games with Betis Deportivo, Mensah now arrives in Zaragoza to complete the midfield of the team managed by Rubén Sellés.
“From the club, we welcome you and wish you the best of luck in this new chapter we’re beginning together. Go for it, Mawuli!” the club said in its official statement.
Mensah is expected to play a vital role in Zaragoza’s campaign as they battle for survival in the second tier of Spanish football.
He will be hoping an opportunity in LaLiga2 will kick-start greater things to come in his career.
