Anthony Martial has admitted he does not see his future at on loan Spanish club Sevilla.
The Frenchman moved from Manchester United to the Spanish club in the summer to reignite his career, but despite regular play-time, has failed to rediscover his form.
He has so far scored once for the Spanish club but is yet to find the back of the net in his last eight outings.
In an interview on Thursday, the striker admitted he doesn’t see a future at the club.
“I know it’s very difficult for me to continue at Sevilla.
“I’m not worried about that right now. I came knowing that it would be six months and then I would surely have to return to Manchester United.
“‘I’m very happy with the experience of playing in a new club, as big as Sevilla and having minutes again. If we manage to be a top four team, we will have achieved the goal and I will be happy for the fans, who have been very good to me since I arrived.”
Martial’s future at United is still not clear, despite having two years left on his current contract.
The club is expected to have a new manager next season, with Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag the frontrunner for the role, which could open a new door for Martial.
