Manchester United have opened discussions with Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo as head coach Rúben Amorim targets a major overhaul of the club’s attacking line ahead of next season.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian international is said to have met with United executives, with Amorim keen on adding pace, creativity, and versatility to a side that managed just 42 goals in 36 Premier League games this season.
Semenyo has been a standout performer for Bournemouth, scoring nine goals and providing six assists in the league. His ability to operate on both flanks makes him a dynamic option for United, especially with the club eyeing a return to the Champions League.
Amorim, known for his 3-4-2-1 system, is reportedly seeking attackers who can adapt to multiple roles; and Semenyo fits that mold.
However, United face competition. Newcastle United and Arsenal are also monitoring the winger, setting up a potential bidding war as the summer window approaches.
Though Semenyo signed a long-term deal with Bournemouth last year; keeping him at the Vitality Stadium until 2029; growing interest could test the Cherries’ resolve.
Should United agree on a fee, Semenyo could become a key figure in Amorim’s plan to restore United’s attacking edge and push for silverware next season
