Manchester United are eyeing up an Ajax star as an alternative to Harry Kane, according to reports.
With the summer transfer window fast approaching, the future of Harry Kane is no doubt set to come to the fore once more.
This comes after Kane rather publicly tried to force his way out of Spurs last summer to join up with Manchester City.
Of course, no move transpired, but there was an expectation that the Sky Blues would go back in for Kane this summer.
However, Man City have since signed Julian Alvarez and are apparently leading the race for Erling Haaland. In turn, we have seen little talk of the Manchester powerhouse making a move for Kane, leaving the door open to another potential suitor.

Haller over Kane
And given Manchester United’s current striking situation, they would no doubt love to have Kane at their club.
Cristiano Ronaldo has just one year left on his contract at present and is no longer capable of playing at the top level week in, week out.
Elsewhere, Edinson Cavani is due to leave Old Trafford in the summer, meaning an ageing CR7 and Marcus Rashford are expected to be United’s only centre-forward options next term.
So, with Man City out of the picture, United fans are likely hoping to see their side move for Kane.
However, as per Caught Offside citing the Sun, that does not look as though it will happen, with it instead reported that United are interested in Haller who could move for just £35m, making him a bargain alternative to the £100m-rated Harry Kane, whom the Red Devils can’t afford.
