Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that the trio of Kyle Walker, John Stones, and Ruben Dias will miss the remainder of the season.
Dias was withdrawn at half-time of their win over Newcastle United with a muscular problem with Walker and Stones missing the game completely.
With three games left to play in the season, Guardiola said of the trio: “Ruben, Kyle, and John are out until the end of the season.”

“(Fernandinho has helped) a lot, otherwise, it’s CJ (Ega-Riley) or (Luke) Mbete. In this situation it’s not a problem, Rodri can play there. We have the academy. Everyone has to do extra,” he added.
City moved three points clear of Liverpool on top of the table after a 5-0 demolition of Newcastle United on Sunday.
