Manager Chris Hughton hopes to improve craft as he works with Black Stars

Former Brighton & Hove Albion manager, Chris Hughton has disclosed that he wants to become a better manager while working for the Ghana national team.

The tactician who is of Ghanaian descent has been the technical adviser for the Black Stars since March.

Speaking in an interview, Chris Hughton has admitted that management is not just a difficult job but lonely as well.

Nonetheless, the gaffer says he is enjoying it and wants to take advantage of the Ghana job to become a better coach.

“Management is a difficult and lonely job, but we do it to improve players and teams. You must also still have the hunger and I have. I still want to get back into management.

This is exciting, what’s coming up. Hopefully, I will emerge a better manager. The exciting part with Ghana is going into the unknown. They have trusted me to do the role how I see it,” Chris Hughton told Daily Mail.

The coach was key to the success of the Black Stars in March as he helped the technical team with his expertise in the world cup qualification playoff match against Nigeria.
