Premier League giants Manchester United have responded to reports that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club.
Reports have emerged this week that Bayern Munich was interested in the player to replace Robert Lewandowski but United have rebuffed those claims.
The latest links to Chelsea have been downplayed in a recent report by CaughtOffside, with the London side not interested in signing the 37-year-old following claims from The Athletic that Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes met with new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.
A club source while speaking to The Mirror said: “Cristiano is not for sale. We want – and fully expect – him to be with us next season.”
