Gideon Kodua, an England-born attacker eligible for Ghana, has sealed a full-time switch to Luton Town.
The League One side confirmed the move at the end of the winter window on Friday, February 6.
The deal follows Luton’s decision to activate a clause that converts his stay into a permanent one.
“We are excited to confirm that Luton Town Football Club has triggered its option to transfer Gideon Kodua from West Ham on a permanent basis, subject to EFL approval.
“Everyone at the Club will be buoyed by this news ahead of Saturday’s home game with Bradford City, which kicks off at 12:31pm as part of the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Every Minute Matters’ campaign.”
Kodua had been on the club’s radar after showing promise during his time away from West Ham.
Luton view the forward as a player with significant upside and long-term value.
Securing him outright removes any uncertainty around his future at the club.
For Kodua, the agreement brings stability and a clearer route to consistent first-team opportunities.
