On-loan Arsenal star Lucas Torreira has taken to social media on Sunday, to respond to suggestions that he will not remain with Fiorentina beyond the close of the campaign.
For those not aware, altogether surprising claims regarding the future of Uruguayan international Torreira began to spread across the Italian media earlier today.
The speculation in question pointed towards those in a position of power at Fiorentina, with whom the midfielder has spent the season on loan, opting against taking up their option to make his arrival permanent.
Such a decision would come as nothing short of a shock, with Torreira having rediscovered his brilliant best across his stint in Florence, en route to a trio of Player of the Month awards.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest social media activity on the part of the 26-year-old is anything to go by, then perhaps the Fiorentina faithful need not begin to fret just yet.

Taking to his official Instagram account this afternoon, Torreira unveiled a photo of himself at his Viola unveiling ceremony.
More significant, though, was the accompanying caption of a series of shushing emojis, insinuating that perhaps what has been written about him across the day to date is not as accurate as first thought.
