Liverpool are monitoring Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma as they look for a long-term replacement for Sadio Mane.
The Dutchman moved to Spain after impressing at English club Bournemouth and following his good display with his current team in the Champions League, there have been clubs circling around for his services with Liverpool believed to be one of them.
According to GOAL, the Reds are interested in the 25-year-old and could look to sign him if they fail to agree on new terms with Sadio Mane. The Senegalese contract is due to expire in June 2023, and a new deal is yet to be agreed.
The Reds are currently concentrating on a new deal for Mohamed Salah with Mane’s representative set to make higher demands if the Egyptian is handed a new improved contract.
Danjuma’s versatility could be an attraction to Jurgen Klopp, with the Dutch winger able to play in multiple positions. The player has predominantly featured wide left this season, as well as through the middle as a striker, and has managed 13 goals in 28 games in all competitions so far this season.
Apart from Liverpool, Newcastle and West Ham are also interested in the winger who is keen on a return to the Premier League.
