Ghanaian youngster Listowell Lord Hinneh has officially joined English Championship side Middlesbrough after impressing during trials.
The 18-year-old winger, formerly of Asante Kotoko, has signed a long-term contract with the club, subject to international clearance.
Listowell, a product of Samba Stars Academy, has represented Ghana at youth international level and has experience playing in the Ghana Premier League with Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko.
He was part of the Samba Stars Confederations Cup squad alongside Jalil Alhassan Moore, who recently joined Strasbourg.
Middlesbrough’s head of recruitment, Chris Jones, and academy recruitment lead, Martin Carter, personally scouted Listowell, highlighting his pace, direct style, and exceptional ball control.
He’ll initially link up with Boro’s Under-21 side under coach Mark Tinkler.
