Libyan referee Mutaz Ibrahim appointed to officiate Ghana’s clash against Mozambique on Monday

Referee Mutaz Ibrahim from Libya has been appointed to handle Ghana’s clash against Mozambique on Monday, January 22.

The Black Stars of Ghana will face off with their Mozambiquan counterparts tomorrow in their final Group B encounter in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The match is scheduled to be played at Stade Alassane Ouattara in Ebimpe at 8 pm.

Ahead of the game, the Ghana FA has announced that “Mutaz Ibrahim from Libya has been appointed as centre referee for the Africa Cup of Nations group B game between Mozambique and Ghana.”

The 33-year-old will be assisted by Djibril Camara from Senegal (Assistant I), Abbes Akram Zerhouni from Algeria (Assistant II), and Samuel Uwinkunda from Rwanda (Fourth Official).
